RULES ON THE RELEASE OF ALIEN DETAINEES
To emphasize the rules on the release of alien detainees enunciated under Section, Rule VII of Memorandum Order No. 04-92, as approved by the Secretary of Justice, an alien detainee may only be released upon the written order of the Commissioner.
Release of alien detainees on pass shall likewise be approved only by the Commissioner. In case where the reason for the release of the detainee is for medical check-up or confinement in a hospital, the favorable recommendation of the Chief of the Medical and Dental Clinic shall be necessary.
