[ LTO MEMORANDUM ORDER 95-001, April 10, 1995 ]

REVOCATION OF ALL DEPUTATION ORDERS IN METRO MANILA



Pursuant to the provisions of R.A. No. 7724, otherwise known as the "Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Law", the authority granted you as Deputies/Agents of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and all deputation orders heretofore issued by the undersigned to the officials and individual members of your organization in Metro Manila as enumerated but not limited to the following pursuant to and for the enforcement of the Land Transportation and Traffic Code, R.A. No. 4136, are hereby revoked effective 12 April 1995:

1. Land Transportation Office
2. Department of Transportation and Communications
3. Metro Manila Authority
4. Philippine National Police:

-Traffic Management Command
-Defunct Eastern Police District Traffic Command
-Defunct Western Police District Command
-Defunct Northern Police District Traffic Command
-Defunct Central Police District Traffic Command
-Philippine Maritime Command

5. NAIA Officials and Airport Police
6. PNCC Officials and Expressways Patrol (North and South)
7. Bureau of Fire Protection
8. AFP, LTFRB, DPWH, PIA, LGUs, COA, BOC, and PAGCOR

Accordingly, all deputized LTO deputies/agents concerned are directed to cease and desist from the performance of their duties as such, and to surrender to the Chief, Law Enforcement Service, LTO all unused Temporary Operators permit (TOP) booklets, deputation IDs and such other paraphernalia issued to you in connection therewith within 48 hours from receipt hereof.

LEST YOU BE HELD LIABLE UNDER PENALTY OF LAW.
