AMENDMENT TO RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE USE OF COMMEMORATIVE PLATES/STICKERS



Section 4 of Administrative Order No. 83 AO-DIR-003 is hereby amended to read as follows:

Where to Install — The commemorative sticker must be pasted in the upper right hand corner of the front and rear windshields while the commemorative plate shall be installed at the space allotted for the front plate.  It is hereby allowed that ONLY the front regular plate shall be temporarily removed and in its stead the commemorative plate shall be installed. In no case shall the rear permanent plate be removed to accommodate a better display of the commemorative plate.  The Land Transportation Office shall manufacture only one piece, instead of a pair of commemorative plate.  The validating windshield sticker shall be pasted at the left upper side of the front windshield.

Section 5 of Administrative Order No. 83 AO-DIR-003 is likewise amended to read as follows:

Duration — The duration for the use of commemorative plate/sticker shall be based on the period of time as authorized by the Office of the President of the Philippines, and shall be indicated on the surface of the commemorative plate/sticker; upon expiration of said authority, all these commemorative plates/stickers previously authorized and issued shall be immediately detached from the vehicle.

All orders, memoranda, circulars, rules and regulation previously promulgated by this Office which are inconsistent herewith are hereby modified, amended and or superseded.

This order takes effect upon approval.
