LIENS FOR THE PASUDECO MILL DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE (PMDDC)
WHEREAS, in compliance with Sugar Order No. 8, Series of 1990-1991, a Mill District Development Committee was created on November 19, 1991 in the PASUDECO Mill District;
WHEREAS, pursuant to the objectives set forth in the aforecited Sugar Order, the PASUDECO Mill District Development Committee adopted a Resolution providing for the collection of P1.00/Lkg. bag of sugar produced, the same to constitute as the Committee’s Research and Development Fund;
WHEREAS, the Committee requested the Sugar Regulatory Administration that said amount be liened on the quedan of sugar producers in the PASUDECO Mill District;
WHEREAS, this will redound to the good of the sugar industry;
NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the powers vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration and in conformity with the aforecited Resolution of the Committee, the mill companies concerned are hereby authorized to lien on the quedan of sugar producers in the PASUDECO Mill District, including the mill share, the amount of P1.00/Lkg. bag of sugar produced effective crop year 1991-1992, the same to be remitted by the mills for the account and credit of the aforesaid Committee.
