[ POEA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 11 S. 1983, April 14, 1983 ]

POSTING OF ORDERS, RULES AND REGULATIONS AND ISSUANCES GOVERNING RECRUITMENT AND PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES AND RELATED MATTERS



In order to effect widespread dissemination of information regarding issuances governing recruitment and placement of workers abroad and other related matters, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration shall make available to all recruitment agencies, shipping/manning agencies and contracting companies, posters relating to the following matters:

1. Rules and Regulations Implementing Executive Order No. 857 Governing the Remittance To The Philippines Of Foreign Exchange Earnings of Filipino Workers Abroad;

2. Schedule of Penalties Imposed by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration For Offenses Committed by Licensed Employment Agencies, Shipping/Manning Agencies and Contracting Companies;

3. Guidelines Governing Compulsory Pre-Departure Orientation Seminars for all Filipino Contract Workers including Seamen for overseas employment;

4. Kaukulang Bayad Ng Bawat Aplikanteng Nais Magtrabaho Sa Ibang Bansa;

All concerned are hereby directed to secure these posters from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration and to post them in conspicuous places within their respective Office premises on or before May 1 1983. Failure to do so shall be penalized with suspension of documentary processing until compliance hereof is secured but not less than a period of six (6) months effective the date of issuance of the order of suspension.

Strict compliance is hereby enjoined.
