SUSPENSION OF DOCUMENTARY PROCESSING AND DEPLOYMENT OF OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS (OFWS) BOUND FOR IRAQ
Effective immediately, the processing of employment contracts and deployment of OFWs bound for Iraq are hereby suspended.
The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration is hereby instructed to consult and coordinate with the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Presidential Middle East Preparedness Committee-Task Force Iraq for the re-assessment of the prevailing situation in that country as it affects the safety, security, welfare and protection of the OFWs.
