[ PPA ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 02-92, April 13, 1992 ]

RECLASSIFICATION OF VARIOUS PRODUCTS AS NON-DANGEROUS CARGOES



In order to further rationalize the imposition of surcharges on dangerous cargo under PPA Administrative Order No. 02-89, the following cargoes are hereby delisted from those chargeable with dangerous cargo tariff surcharge as contained in PPA Admin. Order No. 62-89 provided such cargoes are transported in container vans.

1.         Hydraulic brake fluid
2.         Charcoal (activated or non-activated)
3.         Copper
4.         Cosmetics
5.         Cotton Waste
6.         Safety Fuse
7.         Hemp
8.         Medicines
9.         Alcoholic Beverages, such as Tanduay Rhum, Añejo Rhum, Club Valentino Rhum and others.

This modifies PPA Administrative Order No. 02-89 which is entitled "Cargo Handling Rate for Dangerous/Obnoxious Cargoes".

This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
