[ DOH MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR, January 21, 1980 ]

VACCINATION CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAVELERS IN THE PHILIPPINES



Smallpox — For arriving travelers, no vaccination certificates are required from any country.

Vaccinations are recommended for travelers departing for countries requiring smallpox vaccination certificates.

Yellow Fever — Vaccination certificates are required for arriving travelers who, within the preceding six (6) days, have been in a yellow fever infected area, except children below one year of age who are, however, subject to isolation or surveillance when indicated.

Yellow fever vaccination is recommended for travel to infected areas.

This requirement shall take effect 1 February 1980.
