[ PPA MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 04-93, November 09, 1993 ]
RATES UNDER THE SCHEDULE OF RESTRUCTURED CARGO HANDLING TARIFF ARE CEILING RATES
Pursuant to the instruction of the PPA Board of Directors on the occasion of its regular meeting last November 5, 1993, the following information relative to the above subject are hereby issued:
1. All arrastre/stevedoring rates as appearing in the schedule of Restructured Cargo Handling Tariff are considered ceiling rates. The cargo handling contractor/operator may, thus, offer lower but not higher tariff to its client, provided that the government share of the cargo handling revenue shall not be prejudiced; and
2. This policy shall apply to all ports whether or not they are covered by the open competition policy.
For your information, reference and guidance.
This shall take effect immediately.
