(NAR) VOL. 11 NO.1 / JANUARY – MARCH 2000

[ MTRCB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 98-15, October 12, 1998 ]

PROCEDURE IN THE USE OF DEPUTY CARD

We have been receiving a number of inquiries regarding the proper procedures to be observed with regard to MTRCB VOLUNTEER DEPUTY CARDS.

All theaters under the jurisdiction of the MTRCB are required to admit the holder of the MTRCB VOLUNTEER DEPUTY CARD and a companion to any and all exhibitions of motion pictures, except in film premiere screenings.  A DEPUTY CARD holder is not allowed to bring one person inside the theater and then go out again to bring another person in to the same theater. However, the DEPUTY CARD holder may leave his companion behind and choose to enter another theater, bringing with him another person into the second (or third or fourth, etc.) theater.

For monitoring purposes, theaters are encouraged to list down the name and card number of the MTRCB Deputy.  Theaters are likewise urged to report to the MTRCB any abuses committed by the Deputies.  In such cases, the theaters are authorized to retain or confiscate the Cards of MTRCB Deputies.

For your information and compliance.
