[ DECS ORDER NO. 28, S. 2000, May 05, 2000 ]
GUIDELINES GOVERNING CONTRACTUAL EMPLOYMENT FOR YEAR 2000
1. For the information and guidance of all concerned, enclosed is Civil Service Commission (CSC) and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Joint Circular No. 99-7 (Please see NAR Volume 11/1, page 107) dated December 29, 2000, which shall apply to contractual personnel starting January 1, 2000.
2. Attention is invited to the provisions of said joint circular, particularly on the matter of compensation and payment of government shares of RLIP, Medicare, ECIP and PAG-IBIG contributions of contractual employees.
3. The grant of vacation and sick leave credits of contractual employees in DECS shall be governed by CSC rules on leaves, as amended.
4. Wide dissemination of this Order is desired.
