REQUESTS FOR DEMOLITION OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS
1. Effective immediately, all requests for inspection and demolition of school buildings which are perceived to be already hazardous, should be directly addressed to the Office of the Secretary.
2. Inspection, evaluation and studies relative to the request shall be conducted by the Task Force Engineering, Assessment and Monitoring (TFEAM). The TFEAM shall submit its findings and recommendations to the Secretary through the Undersecretary for Administration and Finance.
3. No requests shall be directly addressed to other government engineering offices without prior approval from the DECS Secretary or his authorized representative.
4. For the information and guidance of all concerned.
