[ POEA DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 25-A, s. 1993, December 20, 1993 ]
AMENDMENTS TO DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 25, SERIES OF 1993
Further to Department Order No. 25, Series of 1993 entitled " Prescribing Measures to Further Improve Protection in the Deployment of Household Workers', the following amendments are hereby issued:
1. Section A.1.c shall read as follows;
"accreditaion of foreign employers and principals and foreign placement agencies"
2. Section A.2.d shall read as follows"
"additional cash bond in escow in the amount of one hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) on a per market/country basis."
3. The following section shall be included:
A.3.c - Name Hire Processing
Name Hire household workers shall be processed by the Household Workers Center only for the following:
1. Hirings by immediate members of the family of heads of stage/government
2. Hirings by Ministers/Deputy Ministers and other senior government officials of the host country
3. Hirings by senior officials of the diplomatic corps and duly recognized international organizations
4. Hirings by officials of the POEA Government Placement Branch's client companies and companies accredited by POEA for agencies awarded for outstanding performance and are not necessarily a authorized to participate in the deployment of household workers.
This Department Order shall take effect immediately.
