MEMORANDUM


Further Amendment to Joint Order 1-91 Implementing the Comprehen­sive Import Supervision Scheme (CISS)

For your reference and guidance, attached herewith is a copy of the amendment to para­graph 3 of Joint Order 1-91 so as to include sub-paragraph (m) (herein, which exempts from SGS pre-shipment inspection, importations by enterprises/firms registered with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA).

The amendment which has been jointly signed by the Secretary of Trade and Industry, Secretary of Finance and Governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, was duly noted by the Monetary Board under its Resolution No. 447 dated November 10, 1993.

Please be guided accordingly. Adopted: 18 Nov. 1993

AMENDMENT TO JOINT ORDER 1-91


Pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 391 dated September 2, 1991, paragraph 3 of Joint Order 1-91, as amended, implementing the Global Comprehensive Imports Supervision Scheme is hereby further amended to include the following:

m. "importations by enterprises/firms registered with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), subject to the implementing rules and regulations jointly promulgated by the SBMA and the Bureau of Customs"
