[ BSP CIRCULAR LETTER, May 08, 1998 ]
PURCHASE OR SALE OF US$100,000 AND ABOVE OR ITS EQUIVALENT IN OTHER FOREIGN CURRENCIES OUTSIDE PDS
As approved by the Monetary Board under its Resolution No. 659 dated May 6, 1998, effective immediately and as part of the monitoring system on compliance by banks with Circular No. 1327, as amended by Circular No. 137 dated July 31, 1997, every purchase or sale of US$100,000.00 and above or its equivalent in other foreign currencies outside the Philippine Dealing System (PDS) shall be reported daily to the Deputy Governor, Supervision and Examination Sector, using the attached prescribed form[*] .
Reports shall be submitted not later than 12:00 noon of the following banking day.
