STANDARDIZED FLAT RATE FEE PER VESSEL CALL BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (DA) AND ASSOCIATION OF INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING LINES (AISL)



In the interest of service, the Department of Agriculture has come-up with the following standardized flat rate vessel call for International Containerized Shipping Lines who are members of the Association of International Shipping Lines (AISL).

The adjustment rate per vessel call for service rendered by quarantine officers whether on regular or overtime will now be five hundred pesos (P500.00). The adjusted rate is applicable to AISL member that stay in one port for less than twenty four (24) hours but not to vessels carrying break bulk cargoes. The present flat rate per vessel call was computed as follows:

                                               
Rate per hour:P35.00/hour x 3 hrs= 105.00 
Meal :one (1) meal = 100.00 
Transportation:P150.00/way x 2 ways= 300.00 
    P505.00 =P500.00

The AISL will pay for additional compensation of six pesos (P6.00) per kilometer for distance beyond eight kilometers (8 kms.) from the station.

The flat rate is applicable to the main ports in Manila (MICT and South Harbor) and other major ports such as Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Subic and Batangas.

All regulatory agencies such as Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI), Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) are hereby instructed to disseminate this information to all concerned.

This order shall take effect fifteen (15) days from date of signing.
