REVISION OF SCHEDULE OF FEES AND CHARGES FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY THE NATIONAL MEAT INSPECTION COMMISSION



Pursuant to Article 17 (d) of Republic Act 7394 otherwise known as the “Consumers Act of the Philippines”, the following schedule of fees and charges for services rendered by the National Meat Inspection Commission is hereby promulgated for the information and guidance of all concerned:

SECTION 1.      Accreditation Fees of Slaughterhouse, Poultry Dressing Plant, Meat Processing Plant, Meat Cold Storage and Meat Delivery Vans. For the Issuance of Certificate of Accreditation to public and/or private slaughterhouse, poultry dressing plant, meat processing plant, meat cold storage and meat and meat product delivery vans after having been evaluated and classified for purposes of standardization are the following fees:

“AAA”

Slaughterhouse/Poultry Dressing Plant/ Meat Processing Plant/Cold Storage

P1,800.00/yr.

“AA”

Slaughterhouse/Poultry Dressing Plant/Meat Processing Plant/Cold Storage

P1,300.00/yr.

“A”

Slaughterhouse/Poultry Dressing Plant/Meat Processing Plant

P500.00/yr.

 

Meat and Meat Products Delivery Van

P300.00/yr.

 

 

 

Note:   Adjustment of fees is due to:

1.         Expenses incurred in the fabrication of a standard billboard of accreditation aside from the certificate of accreditation.

2.         Standardization of cold storage classification patterned from other meat plants (SH, PDP, MPP).

SECTION 2.      Meat Import Inspection Fees

1.         For the inspection of meat, meat products, and edible offals whether fresh, frozen, chilled, processed, semi-processed, or in airtight containers to determine the fitness for human consumption —— P.30/kgs.

SECTION 4.      Repealing Provision . All orders, rules and regulations which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Order are hereby repealed.

SECTION 5.      Effectivity. This Order shall take effect upon the date of approval.
