OTHER CUSTOMS FEES AND CHARGES



Pursuant to Executive Order No. 159 dated 23 February 1994 in relation to Sections 608, 3302 and 3304 of the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines, as amended, the following fees and charges may be collected by the Bureau of Customs in addition to those already allowed under existing order:

1.         Registration fee of P1,000.00 for participation in public auction sales conducted by the Bureau to be paid prior to the sale and as a condition for registration. Provided, that participation in lot sales with floor prices less than P10,000 is exempt from this fee. The Notice of Award and the official receipts covering payment for lots won should only be in the name of a registered bidder.

2.         Laboratory fees for services rendered by the Customs Laboratory Unit as follows:

The Commissioner of Customs may promulgate rules and regulations to implement this Order.

All orders, rules and regulations inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its approval and publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
