DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY TO REGIONAL DIRECTORS TO HEAR AND DECIDE PETITIONS FOR REDUCTION OF FARE WITHIN THEIR TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION

[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2004-017, June 30, 2004 ]

DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY TO REGIONAL DIRECTORS TO HEAR AND DECIDE PETITIONS FOR REDUCTION OF FARE WITHIN THEIR TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION



In the interest of public service, exigency, economical and speedy disposition of Petitions for Reduction of Fare Increase, the Regional Directors of this Board are hereby authorized to hear and decide said Petitions for Reduction of Fare within their territorial jurisdiction.

In view thereof, the Regional Directors are hereby instructed to inform this Board in writing or by fax within two (2) days from receipt of any Petition for Reduction of Fare and likewise to furnish this Board a copy of such Petition and the proposed Decision for concurrence of the Board within three (3) days prior to its promulgation.

This Memorandum Circular modifies and/or supersedes any and all issuances inconsistent herewith and shall take effect immediately.

So Ordered.
