TRAVEL TO LIBYA VIA TUNISIA OR EGYPT
The Philippine Ambassador in Libya thru the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Office of Middle Eastern and African Affairs, has informed POEA that ferry services between Malta and Libya remain suspended as of 29 November 1995.
In view of this, all licensed agencies recruiting Filipino OCWs for Libya are hereby advised to re-route their workers via Tunisia of Cairo and that appropriate Tunisian or Egyptian entry/transit visas be secured for their hired workers prior to deployment.
