NOTICE, AMENDMENT TO THE GUIDELINES IN THE INSPECTION AND SUSPENSION OF LAME HORSES



Please be informed that the Philracom Board in its meeting held on February 8, 2002, after due deliberation resolved to amend the guidelines in the inspection and suspension of lame horses which will now read as follows:

GUIDELINES IN THE INSPECTION AND SUSPENSION OF LAME HORSES

8. a) The findings of the Philracom and Club Veterinarian is final;

b) Report of lame horses will be submitted to the club and the same will not be accepted for declaration;

c) Declared horses found lame on Tuesday "ensayo" will be considered N.D. (Not Declared);

d) Jockey, Apprentice Jockey, Student Jockey and Exercise Rider who refused to disclose the name of the horse to be exercised will be penalized as follows:

1st Offense -



P500.00



2nd Offense -



P1,000.00



Subsequent Offenses:

For Jockeys and Apprentice Jockeys, one (1) racing week suspension from participating in the races

For Student Jockeys and Exercise Riders, one (1) week suspension from exercising horses

This rule shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication.
