[ SRA SUGAR ORDER NO. 7, December 17, 1996 ]

AMENDMENTS TO SUGAR ORDER NO. 6-A, SERIES OF 1994-1995, DATED 15 MARCH 1995.



WHEREAS, there is a need to amend Sugar Order No. 6-A, Series of 1994-1995, dated 15 March 1995, concerning procedures and/or requirements for exchange (“swapping”) involving `A’ quedan-permits.

NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the authority vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby ordered that:

SECTION 1.       Section 2 of the abovementioned Sugar Order No. 6-A, Series of 1994-95, dated 15 March 1995, is hereby amended to read as follows:

“Section 2.    Application for exchange (`swapping’ ) involving `A’ quedan-permits shall be processed even without the accompanying application for export clearances/permits, however, a certification (form hereto attached) by the mill concerned that the physical sugar covered by the `A’ quedan-permits submitted for exchange (`swapping’) has not yet been moved or transferred from the millsite warehouse to the loading port or bulk terminal, is hereby required.”

SECTION 2.       This Sugar Order shall take effect immediately.

SECTION 3.       All other provisions of Sugar Order No. 6, Series of 1994-1995, dated 20 February 1995, shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 4.       Provision of Sugar Orders, Circular Letters, rules and regulations inconsistent with or contrary to the Sugar Order are hereby revoked, amended or modified accordingly.
