AMENDMENT TO DA ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO.12 AND NO. 26, SERIES OF 2004 IN COMPLIANCE TO EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 554, SERIES OF 2006



Pursuant to pertinent Sections of Executive Order No. 554, eliminating the fees and charges imposed on export clearances, inspections, permits, certificates, and other documentation requirements, the BPI regulatory fees for export as prescribed under Administrative Order Nos. 12 and 26, series of 2004, are hereby eliminated.

In keeping with International Plant Protection Convention and pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 1433 (Plant Quarantine Law), the BPI, notwithstanding the elimination of the fees and charges, shall continue to require the necessary certificates and/or clearances to export plants and plant products and other materials capable of harboring plants pests.

This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication in the Official Gazette or in one (1) newspaper of general circulation.
