EXCLUSION OF MOGADON TABLET FROM THE LIST OF REGULATED DRUGS



Pursuant to the powers vested in the Dangerous Drugs Board under Section 36(a) Article VIII of R.A. 6425, as amended, the temporary exclusion of Mogadon tablet from the list of regulated drugs effected through Board Regulation Nos. 2 and 5, both series of 1977, is, in accordance with the decision arrived at by the said Body in its meeting of February 15, 1978, hereby further extended for a period of one (1) year, subject to the following conditions:

1.       That the said preparation shall be dispensed through ordinary prescription required under R.A. 3720, otherwise known as the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act;

2.       That the prescription indicate the name, address, number of Privilege Tax Receipt and Opium License of the prescribing physician as well as the name and address of the patient;

3.       That after the said period, the said preparation shall revert automatically to the category of a regulated drug unless again further extended; and

4.       That the period of effectivity of this extension may be sooner terminated upon receipt of proof that the subject drug is being abused.

This Regulation shall be effective from January 20, 1978.
