ADDITION OF MECLOQUALONE TO THE LIST OF REGULATED DRUGS



In accordance with Article 2 Paragraph 7 of the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances and following a communication from the Secretary General of the United Nations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines informing of Decision No. 4 (S-VI) of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs placing 3-(o-chloropenyl)-2-methyl-4(31)-quinazolinone the international non-proprietary name of which is MECLOQUALONE, in Schedule II of the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances, the Dangerous Drugs Board by virtue of its powers under Section 36 (a) of R.A. 6425 as amended and consistent with its decision arrived at in its meeting of October 21, 1980, hereby includes the said drug in the list of Regulated Drugs.

This Regulation shall take effect fifteen (15) days after the second publication of this regulation in a newspaper of general circulation.
