PREVENTION OF UNVACCINATED HORSES FROM ENTERING THE CLUB PREMISES (ADDITIONAL AMENDMENTS TO SECTION 110 AND SECTION 20)



Please be informed that the PHILRACOM Board in its meeting held on July 21, 2000 resolved to amend Section 110 by adding Paragraph 13 and Section 20 of the Horse Racing Rules and Regulations, to wit:

SECTION 110    ACTS AND/OR OMISSIONS OF HORSE OWNERS OR TRAINERS. — x      x          x            x         x          x         x:

13.  horseowners/trainers of unvaccinated horses brought to the club premises, shall be penalized as follows:

 

1st offense

—  fine P5,000.00

 

2nd offense

— fine P10,000.00

 

3rd offense

— suspension of all horses under his ownership/trainership and shall not be allowed to participate without further order or clearance from PHILRACOM.

SECTION 20.     RACING MANAGER DUTIES — x x          x          x          x          x          x          x          x            x          x          x         

Likewise it shall be his duty to see to it that no suspended jockey/s or any disqualified horse/s takes part in the races, and that every race shall be run as scheduled. It shall also be his duly to see to it that persons banned by PHILRACOM and unvaccinated horses shall not be admitted within the club premises.

This rule shall take effect immediately.
