EXEMPTION OF "IN-VITRO DIAGNOSTIC REAGENTS, BUFFERS, AND ANALYTICAL STANDARDS" FROM CONTROL



In accordance with Article 3, Paragraph 2 of the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances and following a communication from the Secretary General of the United Nations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines informing of Resolution 2 (S-VI) of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs recommending the exemption of "in-vitro diagnostic reagents, buffers, and analytical standards containing substances in Schedules II, III, and IV of the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances from the provisions of Article 12 of that Convention, the Dangerous Drugs Board, by virtue of its power under Section 36 (a), Article VIII of R.A. 6425, as amended, hereby exempts said chemical preparations from control as so recommended.

This Regulation shall take effect upon its publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation.
