AMENDMENT OF EFFECTIVITY OF BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 11, S. 1990: GUIDELINES FOR CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATION OF FILIPINO FORESTERS PRACTITIONERS
WHEREAS Article VII of Resolution No. 11 provides to wit:
WHEREAS since the composition or constitution of the CPE Committee, the CPE program has been on-going and operational.
WHEREFORE, the Board hereby resolved, as it is so resolved, that the effectivity provision in Art. VII of Res. No. 11, Series of 1990, be amended, to read, viz.:
Adopted: 30 Mar. 1992
Approved as part of the Rules and Regulations governing the practice of forestry.
"The effectivity of these guidelines for Foresters licenses-issuance purposes will start on April 1, 1991, with the accumulation of CPE units starting on April 1, 1990. All those who are scheduled to renew their professional Foresters licenses from April 1, 1991 to March 31, 1992 should have earned at least ten (10) CPE units during the preceding year; those renewing their licenses from April 1, 1992 to March 31, 1993 should have earned at least twenty (20) CPE units during the preceding two (2) years; and those renewing their licenses starting April 1, 1993 should have earned at least thirty (30) units during the preceding three (3) years. These guidelines will be fully operational starting April 1, 1993. X X X X X X X"WHEREAS with the non-early constitution of the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Committee and in view of other factors, the requirements in the foregoing provisions have not been implemented, thereby still allowing the issuance of a renewed professional license as a registered forester without the certificate of CPE units; and
WHEREAS since the composition or constitution of the CPE Committee, the CPE program has been on-going and operational.
WHEREFORE, the Board hereby resolved, as it is so resolved, that the effectivity provision in Art. VII of Res. No. 11, Series of 1990, be amended, to read, viz.:
"The Resolution shall take effect, upon approval by the Commission, after fifteen (15) days following the publication thereof in the Official Gazette or any newspaper of general circulation. The earning or accumulation of CPE units and the submission of certificates of CPE units to the Commission for renewal of professional license as a registered forester shall start the said effectivity.FURTHER, RESOLVED that the herein amendatory Resolution shall, upon approval by the Commission, be effective after fifteen (15) days following the completion of the publication thereof in the Official Gazette or any newspaper of general circulation.
Those registered foresters whose professional licenses with expiry date on or after July 1, 1992 but prior to July 1, 1993 shall submit certificate with ten (10) CPE units; with expiry date on or after July 1, 1993 but prior to July 1, 1994, twenty (20) CPE units; and with expiry date on or after July 1, 1994, thirty (30) CPE units."
