VISITATIONS OF CUSTOMS BONDED WAREHOUSES
Reports reaching this Office showed that Customs Bonded Warehouses have been subjected to the harassment through frequent audit/inventory by several Offices and Units of this Bureau.
You are hereby reminded that per existing regulation, only the undersigned has the sole authority to issue Mission Order for the audit/inventory of Customs Bonded Warehouse and that henceforth the Chief, Warehousing Inspection Division is authorized to sign Office Order for the physical inspection of Customs Bonded Warehouse and verification of specific shipment(s), copies of such Office Orders to be furnished the Office of the Commissioner.
