[ DOT ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 91-04, January 24, 1991 ]



In view of the existing economic crisis, the implementation of Section 2(b), Chapter II of the Tourist Transport Code of 1989 which provides that: "To be registrable, every tourist transport shall not, in case of bus or coasters be more than ten (10) years, reckoned from the date of manufacture, nor more than five (5) years for a tourist car" is hereby SUSPENDED until June 30, 1992.

In this regard, all registered or licensed tourist transport operators may still file for renewal of its tourist vehicle registration even if their unit has exceeded the maximum allowable age provided it is found roadworthy and in good running condition upon inspection by the Department’s Inspection Team.
