INCREASE IN FEES AND CHARGES PURSUANT TO EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 197



Pursuant to Executive Order No. 197 dated January 13, 2000 of the Office of the President directing all Departments, Bureaus, Commissions, Agencies, Offices and Instrumentalities of the National Government, including Government-Owned or Controlled Corporations, to increase their rates of fees and charges by not less than 20 percent, and under and by virtue of the powers vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby ordered that:

SECTION 1. The following Fees and Charges are hereby increased and the new rates shall be imposed and collected:

1. Registration /Renewal Fee











a) Sugar/Molasses Traders



P10,000.00 per application







2. Clearance Fee











a) Export of Sugar



P20.00 per Metric Ton



b) Export of Molasses



P2.00 per Metric Ton



c) Imported Refined sugar



P11.90 per LKG



d) Imported Raw Sugar



P11.00 per LKG



e) Imported Molasses



P360.00 per Metric Ton



3. Swapping/Exchange/Surcharge Fee











a) Regular Swapping



P1.00 per LKG







b) Advance Swapping/Replenishment



P2.00 per LKG







c) Switching Fee



P1.00 per LKG







4. Monitoring/Service Fee











a) From Raw to Refined/ Washed/Blanco



P2.00 per LKG







5. Milling Permit



P0.40 per LKG







6. Shipping Permit



P0.40 per LKG

























SECTION 2. All other fees and charges currently being charged and collected and not covered by this Order shall continue to be collected.

SECTION 3. This Order shall take effect Fifteen (15) days after publication.
