(NAR) VOL. 16 NO. 1 / JANUARY - MARCH 2005

[ LTO MEMORANDUM, January 24, 2005 ]

REITERATING STRICT COMPLIANCE TO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO.534-2004 - CONDUCT OF MANDATORY PRACTICAL DRIVING TESTING

It has been observed that Memorandum Circular No. 534-2004 - Conduct of Mandatory Practical Driving Testing is not being complied with by some Licensing Centers. In the said Memorandum, it gave emphasis on the establishment of a specific testing route that should traverse an intersection with traffic lights, that allow the examinee to encounter a situation that require a maneuvering technique.

In line with our desire to give importance to the real principle of the conduct of practical driving test, all Licensing Centers and District Office that conduct examination for driver's license applicant are required to submit to this Office the specific testing route maps for actual driving test. This will be used as inspection criteria during monitoring or audit period.

For strict compliance.
