[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NUMBER 2006- 077, December 29, 2006 ]

AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2004-025 DATED 17 AUGUST 2004 (RE: PETITION FOR CHANGE ENGINE)



In the best interest of the public transport service and in order to expedite the processing of petition/s for change engine, the Board hereby amends Memorandum Circular No. 2004-025, to read as follows:

“x x x , that all grantees of CPCs who intend to change the engine of their units shall file an Application and/or Request for Change of Engine attaching thereto the Certificate of Registration and Official Receipt covering the new engine duly issued by the Land Transportation Office concerned.

“Approval of the Application and/or Request for Change Engine shall be signed by the Regional Director concerned for Regional Offices and by at least one (1) Board Member for the Central Office.

“Failure to file the said Application and/or Request for Change Engine shall cause the non-confirmation of the units.”

This Memorandum Circular supersedes any and all issuances inconsistent herewith and shall be effective fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation or in the Official Gazette.
