IMPORTATION OF YARNS
The Board in its meeting of 16 October 2003, has decided that for monitoring purposes, GTEB will issue Import Authorizations (IA) for importation of yarns on Job-order basis, effective 17 November 2003.
The new procedure likewise applies to BMW operators and CBMW members who are currently importing under the Liberalized System of Importation. Under this procedure, a separate application for yarn importation must be filed and the value of importation shall be drawn from the computed Import License Value of the firm (ILV).
