SUSPENSION OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2004-024



In view of the persistent requests of public utility vehicle operators, the Board hereby suspends the implementation of Memorandum Circular 2004-024 (Re: Registration of Brand -new Units with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Prior to the Filing of any Application with the Board) with the condition that such unit/s shall not be operated as for-hire vehicle in whatever manner.  Otherwise, the franchise under which such unit/s will be authorized shall automatically be revoked.

All other issuances or parts hereof which are inconsistent herewith are therefore modified or superseded accordingly.

This Circular shall take effect immediately following the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the UP Law Center, pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated 09 October 1992.
