[ SRA CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 10, S. 2004-2005, October 28, 2004 ]

SUBMISSION OF THE "D" SUGAR QUEDANS TO THE SRA



In order to facilitate/expedite the early shipment of the "D" sugar to the World Market particularly at the peak of the production of Crop Year 2004-2005, (December-March), it is hereby ordered that:


  1. All "D" sugar quedans of Crop year 2004-2005, consolidated and issued by concerned mill companies to planters' associations/cooperatives, shall be turned in by the mill companies to the SRA Sugar Production and Regulation Officers (SPROs) assigned thereat for custody and safekeeping by the SRA instead of the associations/cooperatives.

    The following are the offices in the SRA that will receive the subject "D" quedans for the aforesaid purposes, to wit:

     
    a) PCRO, Quezon City
    -
    		 for "D" quedans issued by mills in Negros and Panay
      
    b) SRED, Bacolod City
    -
    		 for "D" quedans issued by mills in Luzon, East Visayas and Mindanao


  2. Previously issued quedans in the possession of the planters' associations/cooperatives shall likewise either be surrendered to SRA SPROs and/or directly submitted to SRA as guided by Order No. 1 hereof.

The surrendering of the subject quedans to the SRA shall be preparatory for the expeditious disposition of the "D" sugar in the world market.

This Circular letter shall take effect immediately.
