RESTRICTION IN THE SUBSTITUTION OF 4-DOOR SEDAN TYPE OF TAXICAB
It has come to the knowledge of the Board, that several taxi operators using the 4-door sedan type of vehicle are substituting their unit with FX Toyota Tamaraw or AUV or Van type, or similar type of vehicle and later on, operate the same as MEGA TAXI.
In order to stop this practice, the Board hereby resolved not to accept Petitions for Dropping and Substitution of units of sedan type with FX, AUV or Van Type of vehicle. Only the 4-door sedan taxicabs are allowed as substitute units for authorized 4-door sedan units dropped from public service.
This Memorandum shall take effect fifteen (15) days after the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the U.P. Law Center in accordance with Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated October 9, 1992, and any or all Board issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby modified accordingly, superseded and/or revoked.
