INCLUSION OF REPLACEMENT SCHOOLS TO COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION (CHED)-CONVERTED SCHOOLS IN THE REQUIREMENTS PREPARATION FOR SY 1998-1999
1. Upon the creation of the Commission on Higher Education (RA 7722), queries regarding the supervision of secondary education program in CHED-supervised schools and the inclusion of replacement schools in the proposed budget of different DECS regions, have been received from the school administrators.
2. Regional offices are tasked to include action steps in relation to problems of phased-out high schools come school opening in 1998.
3. Regional directors and schools superintendents are expected to deal with such problems within their respective areas of responsibility in accordance with DECS policies, guidelines and operating procedures.
4. This Memorandum takes effect immediately.
