(NAR) VOL. 16 NO. 1 / JANUARY - MARCH 2005

[ POEA ADVISORY NO. 14, December 20, 2004 ]

REQUESTS FOR LISTS OF PROCESSED OR DEPLOYED WORKERS AND OTHER STATISTICS

Effective on the first working day of February 2005, the POEA will no longer entertain requests from recruitment agencies for lists of their processed or deployed workers and other statistics pertaining to deployment of overseas workers.

Data and statistics that are used as supporting documents for renewal of licenses are no longer necessary since the Licensing Branch already has access to such data in the POEA local area network.

The POEA believes that each licensed recruitment agency has the capability to build up its database of processed and/or deployed workers and other related information. Hence, all official requests for certified lists of processed or deployed workers will no longer be considered by POEA. Only requests for certified deployment information of agencies as a requirement imposed by the Philippine Embassies or POLOs will be acted upon and answers to such requests will be sent to the Embassy or POLO requiring such document.

Statistics for public consumption are available at the POEA Library and in the POEA website. All other requests for specific information pertaining to the overseas employment program shall be coursed through the Office of the Deputy Administrator for Management Services. If granted, a minimal fee will be charged for the generation of the required information.

For information and guidance.
