LIFTING OF THE SUSPENSION OF PROCESSING AND DEPLOYMENT OF FILIPINO WORKERS FOR LEBANON



In light of the improved peace and order situation in Lebanon and pending complete assessment from the Special Task Force on Lebanon, the ban imposed pursuant to POEA Advisory Nos. 8 and 9, series of 2006, is partially lifted to allow the processing and deployment of the following Filipino workers:

  1. Non-household service workers, whether new hires or returning workers;
  2. Returning household service workers but subject to the HSW policy reforms;
  3. Newly hired household service workers from the following employers that were duly endorsed by the POLO, and subject to compliance with the HSW policy reforms:

    1. Members of the family of heads of state/government
    2. Ministers, Deputy ministers and other senior government officials of the same or equal rank of host country; and
    3. Members of diplomatic corps and duly recognize international organizations.

This Order takes effect immediately.
