[ NFA RESOLUTION NO. 39-98, April 10, 1999 ]

AMENDMENTS TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF GRAINS BUSINESSES



RESOLVED THAT, The NFA Council hereby approves the following amendments to the Rules and Regulations of Grains Businesses:

a. Section 10 Regulation IV: Licensing/Renewal Month

The scheduled licensing month shall be from January to June of each year to be determined by the provincial offices based on geographical location and population of grains businessmen per municipality per province.

b. Regulation I Definition No. 114:

MOBILE RICEMILL — A ricemill apparatus whose portable design allows the devise to be mounted on a vehicle and maybe taken in places where milling services are needed. It could also be mounted on a trailer or any wheeled cart. It shall not operate within less than 100 meters radius of a stationary mill and additional 30% of the basic milling license fees shall be imposed for its operation.

c. Section 3.D Regulation IV:

Additional Requirements for Application for Warehousing/Milling/Shelling/Threshing/Drying:

Travelling Mills shall present a Permit from the municipality/city mayor's office-in the municipality where it would be allowed to operate.
