[ SRA GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 1, s. 2006-2007, January 04, 2007 ]

CHARGING OF A FEE ON THE ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATION ON LAND USE CONVERSION OF OF SUGAR LAND INTO RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, OR INDUSTRIAL USE



WHEREAS, in compliance with the requirements and procedures of the Department of Agrarian reform (DAR)  Administrative Order entitled "2002 Comprehensive Rules on Land Use Convention", the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) issues a Certification on Land use conversion of sugar lands into residential, commercial, or industrial use;

WHEREAS, prior to the issuance of said certification, the SRA conducts an inspection/survey of the sugar land subject of the request for the conversion of its use;

WHEREAS, in the conduct of said inspection/survey, the SRA defrays administrative and technical expenses;

NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the power vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby order that;

Section 1. SRA shall set up a system and procedure in the processing and issuance of a Certification On Land Use Conversion of sugar lands into residential, commercial, or industrial use.

Section 2. SRA shall charge a fee to defray the administrative and technical expenses it incur in the processing and issuance of said Certification On Land Use Conversion, as follows:

1.0 Filing Fee

1.1
One Thousand Pesos (P1,000.00) for applications involving land with an area less than or equal to five (5) hectares; or
1.2
Two Thousand Pesos (P2,000.00) for applications involving land with an area of more than five (5) hectares;

2.0 Inspection Fee

2.1
Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00) for applications involving land with an area less than or equal to five (5) hectares;
2.2
Fifteen Thousand Pesos (P15,000.00) for applications involving land with an area of more than five (5) hectares.

Section 3. All other fees and charges currently being charged and collected and not covered by this Order shall continue to be charged and collected.

Section 4. This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication.
