EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE APPLICATION FOR CONVERSION PURSUANT TO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR 2008-009, RE: SIMPLIFYING CLASSIFICATION OF TOURIST TRANSPORT SERVICES
On May 13, 2008, this Board issued Memorandum Circular 2008-009, Re:
SIMPLIFYING CLASSIFICATIONS OF TOURIST TRANSPORT SERVICES. In
order to give an opportunity to those who/which failed to avail the
conversion program, this Board hereby extends the filing of the
Application for Conversion up to June 30, 2009, thereafter, the Board
shall no longer accept and entertain any application of the same nature
or any Motion to Accept/Admit Late Filing of Application for Conversion.
However, applicants who will file Application for Conversion on this extended period shall pay the penalty for late conversion of five hundred pesos (P500.00)/unit.
All issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby superseded and amended accordingly.
This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately.
