VALIDITY OF POLICE CLEARANCE SUBMITTED AS REQUIREMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL DRIVER’S LICENSE APPLICATION



It has been observed that some police clearances submit ted as requirement in securing a professional driver’s license has no validity period while some are marked “valid for six (6) months from date of issue.”

Henceforth, for purposes of uniformity in the implementation of the validity of the police clearance, the said clearances shall be valid for “six (6) months” from the date of issuance.

The police clearance shall be secured from the Police Headquarters where the applicant resides. Accordingly, the applicants for the professional driver’s license should file their applications at LTO Branch near the police headquarters where the clearance was issued.
