[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 96-016, August 05, 1996 ]

ADVANCED INFORMATION ON CHANGE IN FARES BY AIRCONDITIONED BUSES



For the information and guidance of the riding public and in order to avoid confusion and misunderstanding about fares, all operators of airconditioned buses are hereby required to announce any change in fares at least one (1) week in advance by means of posters in their terminals and inside their buses, by flyers, or other means of announcement.

Operators found not complying with this Circular after its effectivity shall be fined P200.00 for the first offense, P500.00 for the second offense and for the third offense, a "Show Cause" order shall be issued for them to explain why their CPC's should not be suspended/cancelled.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect fifteen {15) days after the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the U.P. Law Center, in accordance with the Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated October 9, 1992.
