(NAR) VOL. 9 NO. 3 / JULY - SEPTEMBER 1998

[ PRC BOARD OF VETERINARY MEDICINE RESOLUTION NO. 02, s, 1997, August 27, 1997 ]

AMENDING ANNEX “A” OF BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 03, SERIES OF 1994, BY DISTRIBUTING THE THIRTY (30%) PERCENT WEIGHT GIVEN TO ESSAY-TYPE QUESTIONS FOR EVERY SUBJECT GIVEN IN THE VETERINARY MEDICINE LICENSURE EXAMINATION

The adoption of the complete computerization of all professional licensure examinations has rendered necessary the adoption of the complete multiple-choice type of questions in all subjects thereby doing away with the essay-type of questions whose corrections are manually done which is often the source of irregularity in licensure examinations.

Accordingly, it is necessary to distribute the percentage weight given to the essay-type questions to the subjects for licensure examinations.

WHEREFORE, the Board hereby resolved to amend as it hereby amends Resolution No. 03, Series of 1994 by revising the percentage weight given to the main topics of the syllabi of the subjects given in Veterinary Medicine Licensure Examination as follows: (Full text of the syllabi is available upon request at the Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR), U.P. Law Center, Diliman, Quezon City).

The references (names of textbooks and authors) appended after each Syllabus are incorporated in this Resolution.

The Syllabi for the subjects appended to Resolution No. 03, s. 1994 are superseded by this Resolution.

This Resolution shall take effect after fifteen (15) days from its publication in the Official Gazette or newspaper of general circulation, whichever comes earlier.

This Resolution shall be implemented after the lapse of six (6) months from the date of its effectivity.
