SUBSTANDARD GOLDEN SUN VINEGAR PROCESSED BY GOLDEN SUN FOOD PRODUCTS



The product Golden Sun Vinegar processed by Golden Sun Food Products was found not conforming with the standard specifications for vinegar due to its low total acidity and Permanganate Oxidation Number. Further, the whereabouts of the processing plant is unknown.

Pursuant to the Resolution of this Office in BFAD FOOD CASE NO. FCR12-195-91 dated June 18, 1992, all Food and Drug Regulation Officers are hereby directed to monitor and confiscate stocks of the subject product that may be available in the market and to trace the processing plant of the manufacturer. Any stocks of the product found shall be subject to laboratory test to determine fitness for human consumption and appropriate disposition.
