AMENDMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 50, SERIES OF 2000
<DIV ALIGN=JUSTIFY>Administrative Order No. 50, Series of 2000 revised the rates of fees and charges for the services rendered by the Bureau of Plant Industry. One of the services under the Plant Quarantine Regulatory Services was Inspection Fees on imported "Plant and plant products and other materials capable of harboring plant pests (Section D. 4)
After a thorough discussions among the ornamentals and cutflowers enthusiasts, exporters, importers and other affected sector, it was agreed that there is a need to restudy the new rates.
Hence the collection of new rates for the abovementioned commodities is hereby suspended. The old rates will continue to be imposed pending further study on the rates to be collected.
This Order shall take effect fifteen days after the publication in the Official Gazette in one (1) newspaper of general circulation.
