AMENDMENTS TO SUBIC CMO 3-97 AND THE RECALL OF CMO 13-97



By authority of Section 608 of the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines as amended, the following are hereby provided:

RE CMO 3-97

A.        Paragraph 2.2 is hereby amended to read as follows:

"This order shall apply to all LECC shipments tendered and brought to the LECC Center of FedEx at its Hub at the SBF."

B.        Paragraph 3.5, shall read as follows:
"Article stored at the EDPA or CMSA for which an order has been made and for delivery to LECC customers or their designees or to FedEx stations/offices inside or outside of the Philippines shall be immediately segregated and place inside security packages/containers before removal from the area for shipment or transport. The covering Airway Bill for the shipment shall be affixed to the package/container or to the master (#1) package/container in cases where the shipment consists of two or more packages/containers moving on one AWB. The EDPA shall contain shipments to or from customers which are using logistics services and shall not contain general cargo for which no logistics services are required."

CMO 13-97 is hereby recalled.

III

Effectivity

This order shall take effect immediately and shall remain in full force and effect until otherwise revoked.
