[ PRC BOARD FOR PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS RESOLUTION NO. 2008-026, S. OF 2008, September 24, 2008 ]
SEPARATE LISTS OF EXAMINEES WITH BS EDUCATION DEGREE AND EXAMINEES WITH DEGREES EQUIVALENT TO BS EDUCATION IN THE BOARD LICENSURE EXAMINATION FOR PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS
WHEREAS, this practice of coming up with just one list of passers leads to wrong information on the number of teacher education institutions, resulting to a discrepancy between PRC’s list of teacher education institutions and that of the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED’s); and
WHEREAS, to give accurate information on the degrees earned by the passers and failures in the Board Licensure Examination for Teachers, there is a need to indicate the educational institutions from where they obtained their degrees so as to prevent confusion;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board RESOLVES, as it is hereby RESOLVED, that the release of the results of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers shall have separate lists of examinees for graduates with BS Education and for graduates with degrees equivalent to BS Education; and
FURTHER, RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall take effect after fifteen (15) days from the date of its full and complete publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of national circulation in the Philippines.
